Second chances. 

 

Back in December I was very disappointed to learn that I was not selected via lottery for the Nike Women’s Inaugural half marathon in D.C.   Low and behold this morning, I see an email about a second chance if I register for both the half and the virtual 10 K (which I had considered signing up for but hadn’t).   I thought I had gotten over it and was planning to do the Verrazano Half on 4/27 (which happens to be the first half I ever ran last April).  The allure of that little blue box waiting at the finish line got me to ditch me plans and signup yet again for another race.  I will be in D.C twice in April for a race.   Oh Nike!
